"When I was offered the opportunity by the NHTV Placement Office to do my work placement in China I realised that this was a 'once in a lifetime opportunity'. In the Sofitel Hyland Shanghai Hotel I was the right-hand man of their Food & Beverage director. I worked on the design of new restaurants and realised various events and VIP dinners. A work placement abroad is one of the most valuable experiences during your studies. It makes you grow up faster, it gives you a new, more positive view on life and you learn more about yourself than you have ever known before.
