All the world is connected and media and computational technologies have already converged into a small device we carry around in our pockets. News is sampled rather than broadcast. We converse through snippets of information shared via junk radio bands to a global clique.Today's Information Specialist needs new skills, new understandings, and a greater diversity of approach to guide and facilitate business, technology, government and the cultural sector as they strive to cope with this dynamic digital world.

In the one-year Master's programme Information Studies, you will critically and practically examine this new shifting informational landscape. It offers an academic approach that covers the full spectrum of the field, delving into contemporary information theory and practice, training students for the diversity of professional information roles, and providing insight into both the history of information technology and practice, as well as into its future directions.
